See the divisions of ESI Equipment, Inc. at the 2023 Lancaster County Firemen's Association Annual FIRE EXPO Show held at Pennsylvania Farm Show & Expo Center in Harrisburg, PA 17110 on May 19-20th! Come check out the latest in Holmatro Rescue Tools, Junkyard Dog Stabilization Equipment, and Apparatus from the divisions of ESI Equipment, Inc. On Saturday May 20th come see ESI Demo. It is our intent to help educate the attendees by presenting New Vehicle Technology as it applies to each extrication technique. Each action performed on the provided junk cars will be preceded by teaching points about the new car construction features that may be encountered. Our first emphasis will focus on modern restraint systems such as airbags and seat belt pretensioners. Once those dangers have been described and located, steps to reduce those dangers will be taken to make the vehicle as safe as possible to work on. The application of extrication tools well be presented using tips, tricks of the trade and best practices to safely get the best results. Rescuers will demonstrate techniques while a narration of the activities are simultaneously presented. At various points during the presentation questions will be taken from the audience and either answers will be given verbally or demonstrated on the junk vehicles on display.
