Holmatro introduces its new Cross Ram support Set XRS01, specially designed to distribute the force of a ram over a larger area during cross ramming. This prevents the ram from pushing through car (interior) materials, such as door cards, seat fabric, roof panels, and B-pillars, which would make it lose its effectiveness.
About Cross Ramming
Cross Ramming is a technique to create space when parts of the vehicle are deformed and obstruct a safe patient extrication. With the help of a ram, the car construction is pushed back into its original shape. The new Cross Ram Support Set can be used together with all Holmatro rams.
Cross Ram Support Set
The set consists of a smaller and a larger model. The smaller support can be used on a vehicle’s dashboard and roof. The larger support is designed for use on the rear seat. Both models are suitable for use on the B-pillars.
